About THEiA

Welcome to THEiA, an academy of learning and best practice for all those working with children and young people and those who care for them within families and out of home care. THEiA stands for Trauma, Health and Education International Academy and it will offer specific training in areas such as Therapeutic Life Story Work, Therapeutic Social Work and Recovery in the Classroom.

Sexual Abuse Awareness: staying safe and working with children and adolescents who have been sexually abused and/or sexually harming others. Assessments, Planning and Action and Complex Case Interventions are a few of the courses. These activities will be certificate-based programmes delivered by practitioners in the various disciplines that we will offer.

THEiA will publish and highlight the latest research and papers connected with its core interests, and those undertaking the courses will have resource pages and access to research and development programmes.

THEiA is the ‘Academy of Learning’ from Therapeutic Life Story Work International.
