This course will be a 5 – day programme for all those who are providing care for a child or adolescent who has been impacted by early life trauma.

TLSW (Rose Model) will benefit those working with traumatised children and young people, including those working in child protection, youth justice, family support, counselling, therapy, education, early years, social work and psychology. After successfully completing the Diploma course, students will be awarded the protected title of 'Certified Practitioner'. The course is delivered by Richard Rose and guest facilitators, please refer to the handbook for more details.

TLSW enables children and young people who have experienced trauma of child abuse and neglect, and who are struggling with the pain of their past, to reflect, develop compassion for themselves and move on.

All About Me helps children and young people explore who they are today, what is important to them, their culture, education, friends and how they see their future.

• 3 total hours

A short intervention of 10 to 12 sessions that are designed to help children, young people and adults who have been impacted by traumatic events that continue to negatively define their lives and current emotional presentation.

This one-day course offers an in-depth understanding of the Life Story process and how this work helps children to make sense of their past so that what has happened to them does not dominate, control, or inhibit the present.

This one-day course provides an opportunity to consider communication techniques for traumatised children aimed specifically at those working with children between 3 and 18 years of age.
