Karla provides TLSW interventions, training, TLSW supervision and consultation internationally.

Karla has developed and co designed the Creating Therapeutic Stories Programme and the Certificate in TLSW Supervision Course, both endorsed by Richard Rose.

Karla is the Founder of The Open Toy Box (2002), offering Play Therapy and Psychotherapy.

She is a BACP Accredited Member, former course director for Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Play Therapy, and TLSWi Member and Supervisor. Karla and Co-author Suzanne published Handbook of Therapeutic Life Story Work: The Rose Model, May 2024. Karla is Vice Chair, Academic Lead and an Associate Presenter for THEiA.
