Suzanne McGladdery

Independent Social Worker

Based in Bristol, Suzanne provides Therapeutic Life Story Work interventions, consultation, supervision, training and lecturing internationally.

Suzanne completed the Professional Diploma in TLSW in 2016 and obtained an MSc in Social Work in 1989. She also holds an Advanced Award in Social Work and has undertaken Systemic Family Therapy and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) training to inform her strengths-based practice.

Suzanne’s professional career has focused on working with children and families in statutory child protection teams as well as in fostering and adoption.

Suzanne has developed direct work tools, a model of creating therapeutic stories for children and is co-author of ‘The Handbook of TLSW: The Rose Model’.
